I adored the beautiful, historical details all around the building. the rooms are uniquely decorated with ornate furniture. I felt super classy. the staff were so lovely and upgraded us as it was my husband's birthday!!!
The room felt a bit worn, needing some redecoration. The wallpaper above the bed was peeling off slightly.

Uneven Stay at Historic Site

The jacuzzi was a great addition to the room.
The room looked worn. The wooden paneling in the bathroom was coming up, and the shower tap was loose. It fell off several times. The bed sheets felt cheap and worn with loose threads.

The breakfast was tasty. I enjoyed the food.
The room was too warm, and the air conditioning did not work well. Two fans were supplied as a replacement, but the window would not open. this made for an uncomfortable night.

A Stay with Minor Issues

beautiful furnishingsfine viewbreakfast selectionsnack selectionbrand selectionroom lighting
The building had beautiful furnishings. My Presidential Suite offered a fine view, though one detail was lacking. Breakfast was quite good. It included a help-yourself buffet with both cooked and continental selections.
The bar did not have a wide selection of snacks. It was also low on certain brands at the bar. I wished for more variety. The room looked very dark. I requested another lamp to improve the lighting.

The building's architecture impressed me greatly. I found the staff to be very friendly . The spa bath in my room was an very nice bonus and I took full advantage. The bed proved comfortable, ensuring a restful night.
I found the hot water took quite some time to reach the shower. The plumbing seemed rather ancient in its setup. I hope they can address this issue soon.
